His world tour is currently in full swing, supporting his latest albumSolitary Tracks, the first with his new label, Virgin Music Group.

He opts to travel light: “I don’t ever want to check a bag,” he says. “The last thing you want is a bag to get lost. So I just eliminate all of those problems by going with one little, small backpack.” That’s why he often travels with nothing more than socks, board shorts, and surf wax before heading to the ocean.

For Moore, surfing plays a crucial role in his fitness regimen, serving as both a workout and a sanctuary. “You can’t just train in the gym; you have to train in the water,” he emphasizes. The Georgia-born singer’s passion for surfing began in 2015 with a one-way ticket to Costa Rica. This adventure provided a break from the former college basketball and golf athlete’s music career and allowed him to pursue a hobby. Riding waves has improved his core strength and balance, showcasing how life’s pleasures often blend with fitness.

Now on tour, Moore’s focus extends to his diet, opting for lean proteins, fresh vegetables, and occasionally indulging in treats like mochi ice cream. “I can’t help it,” he says, demonstrating a balanced approach to nutrition.

Moore’s fitness philosophy includes high-intensity interval training (HIIT), maintaining the stamina needed for his electrifying performances. During concerts, he entertains fans for two to three hours—a demanding feat that requires peak physical condition. Rarely adhering to technology or fads, he chooses functional training that reflects the rigorous demands of his life on and off stage.
