Football fans and cereal lovers are about to haul in a big score on the breakfast tables just in time for NFL training camp.
All-Pro wide receivers Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, and Amon-Ra St. Brown have teamed up with General Mills for their own twist on some cereal classics. Kicking off Year 2 of its Cereal Training Camp, this electrifying trio is bringing their signature flair from the football field to the cereal aisle with their own limited-edition custom cereals.
Last year, General Mills collaborated with Travis and Jason Kelce on its “Kelce Mix” of cereals.
In a delicious collaboration, Jefferson has created his very own cereal, the Jettas Mix, a fruity combination that blends Frosted Lemon Cheerios with the new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Strawberry. “Cinnamon Toast Crunch was always my go-to cereal growing up,” the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver exclaimed. “This really feels like a full-circle moment. I can’t wait for everyone to try my custom Jettas Mix. It’s a winning combo of that fresh, lemony vibe and the sweet hit of strawberry Cinnadust for a flavor you won’t want to fumble.”
This year’s lineup features each player proudly showcased on his individually designed cereal boxes. Jefferson’s box highlights the his signature “Griddy” celebration, while Chase flaunts his “Lucky Strut” on a box of Lucky Charms. Amon-Ra St. Brown’s “Honey Handstand” takes center stage on Honey Nut Cheerios. “Growing up, I never would have thought I’d be on a cereal box,” the Detroit Lions wideout said, reflecting on the experience. “I had a blast re-creating my headstand for Honey Nut Cheerios — the OG cereal for me.”
As they continue to shine on the field, their 2024 NFL stats are equally impressive. Justin Jefferson had a standout season, recording 1,600 receiving yards with 12 touchdowns, solidifying his status as one of the league’s elite. Ja’Marr Chase followed closely, amassing over 1,400 yards and 10 TDs, while Amon-Ra St. Brown made waves as well, totaling 1,200 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns.
General Mills’ brand experience director, Mindy Murray, echoed the trio’s larger-than-life personalities, stating, “Our fleet-footed wide receiver partners bring heart, hustle, and humor so cereal and football fans everywhere start their day with a win.”
Fans can look forward to these limited-edition boxes hitting the shelves in August for $3.50, and for ultimate superfans, Walmart.com will offer a collector’s edition of the Reese’s cereal box, complete with custom trading cards and a Bluetooth speaker, starting Sept. 4.
