PSG Signs Deal with AI Fitness Platform Zing Coach, Marking a Shift in Pro Sports Training

Paris Saint-Germain is taking its global fandom from the stands to the training room.

In the club recently announced Jan. 6 partnership with AI-powered fitness platform Zing Coach, the club is inviting fans and fitness enthusiasts to train like the team. The platform uses adaptive, player-inspired workouts on the Zing Coach app. From here fans will find soccer training programming based on both the PSG men’s and women’s squads, with guidance from both squad’s coaching staff. There’s also a competitive layer that tracks progress against player-inspired targets.

The partnership signals different type of fan experience, with leaderboards, VIP match opportunities—there’s even signed memorabilia for top performers. While soccer is watched globally by billions and will be on full display during this World Cup, the sad training truth is one-third of the world remains physically inactive. The partnership between PSG and Zing Coach hopes to close that gap by matching identity-driven motivation with AI personalization.

THE BIG SHIFT: WHERE SPORT, TRAINING, AND AI CONVERGE

The launch, announced in a recent press release, may be a blessing for soccer fans not yet accustomed to a regular fitness routine. Uses will open the app and immediately notice programs that promote wellness and accountability. Plans may evolve with consistency, intensity that modulates to prevent burnout, as well as coaching cues that translate elite principles into everyday routines.

According to the reporrt, Zing’s AI adapts the experience in real time, from workout planning to motivational support, tracking progress against player-inspired benchmarks and surfacing leaderboards that make effort visible. The carrot isn’t hidden: climb the ranks and unlock access that money can’t buy, from VIP match experiences to signed memorabilia.

“At Paris Saint-Germain, we are constantly striving to create unique connections with our supporters around the world,” says Richard Heaselgrave, the club’s Chief Revenue Officer, in a press release. “By partnering with Zing Coach, we give our fans the opportunity to experience what it’s like to train like an elite athlete and to turn their passion for football into an active commitment to their well-being.”

Zing CEO Anton Marchanka frames the move as aspiration meeting access: “Partnering with Paris Saint-Germain offers access to a vast, global fanbase. We hope to motivate millions to take the first step in their physical health journey, and pick up lasting habits that improve their health and quality of life.”

Beyond the app, this deal signals a broader trend. Clubs are evolving from content machines into distributed coaching platforms, publishing training experiences that connect identity with action. AI is graduating from novelty to necessity, serving as a scalable strength coach that forecasts recovery, calibrates volume and intensity, and translates pro methodologies for the mainstream. PSG arrives with momentum—fresh off a historic 2025 season in which the club won the Champions League title. The club’s newest partner, Zing looks to bring tech fitness and wellness redibility recognized by industry accolades.
