Craig Morgan: What I Told Jelly Roll

As he just wrapped up a tour with Blake Shelton, Craig Morgan credits his high-energy lifestyle—from snowmobiling in Alaska to working on his Nashville farm—for helping him keep up with country’s new generation—including superstars stars Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson. “None of them can keep up with me,” he asserts, attributing his vitality to strict health habits.

The “What I Love About Sunday” singer, whose new album, American Soundtrack, was released in late February, shares with Country Muscle Podcast how he’s been staying healthy, Morgan, who when not performing is also a member of the Army reserves, shares what keeps him in top shape at age 60. He also talks about the advice he gave country superstar Jelly Roll, who’s recently lost over 120 pounds and continues to shred.

His secret he says to feeling 20 at age 60: keep moving. “The military teaches you to push yourself beyond your limits,” he notes. “When you’re in such stressful and physically demanding situations, you have no choice but to push yourself or quit. I apply that philosophy to everything I do in my physical life. I just don’t stop.”
