Chase Rice Announces the Date of His New Album Drop

Singer Chase Rice announced on Thursday night the release date of his latest album, Eldora.  Set to arrive on Sept. 19, Eldora is considered to be the singer-songwriter’s most personal project yet.

The 12-song album by the diamond-certified artist, highlights his passionate and raw musical storytelling talents. The “Ready, Set, Roll” singer wrote the album primarily in the quiet confinements of Eldora, CO, shortly after a performance at iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Eldora follows 2024’s Go Down Singin’ and marks Rice’s second album since stepping away a  label system. The goal there, he says was to focus on music that allows him to stay true to his roots.

“This is the kind of music I’ve always loved and the kind of stories I’ve always wanted to tell,” Rice shares in a statement announcing the Eldora release. “I hope the past few years have helped fans see that this is the real me, not the person who was chasing trends or afraid to do something different.”

The album’s lead single, “Circa 1943,” was co-written with Wyatt McCubbin and Oscar Charles. The song pays tribute to Rice’s grandparents, along with fellow members from the “Greatest Generation.” The emotional ballad paints a bittersweet love story set during World War II. The project also features “Two Tone Trippin’,” a more upbeat, guitar-driven tribute to classic country storytelling.

Chase Rice Keeps on Rollin’

With more than 2.8 million albums sold and over 3 billion streams, Chase Rice has firmly cemented himself as a powerhouse solo artist after being a part of the songwriting team of the Florioda-Georgia Line diamond-selling classic “Criuse.” Equally impressive as his songwriting skills are his high-energy concerts worldwide. The independent release of Eldora on Sept. 19 marks a new chapter, with early singles “Two Tone Trippin’” and “Circa 1943” already generating radio and streaming buzz.

Rice’s catalog boasts multi-Platinum hits like “Eyes On You,” “Ready Set Roll,” and “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.”  His upcoming collection follows 2024’s introspective Go Down Singin’ and 2023’s acclaimed I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, both of which were featured in Rice’s “Fireside Sessions.” Rice’s music continues to evolve, from emotional reckonings to solo adventures across the country with his dog, Jack. His evolution has only deepened the authenticity and grit that fans have grow fond of since his early days.

The Fitness Behind the Music—How Chase Rice Stays Tour-Ready

Before Chase Rice dove head first into country music, he was sticking his helmet and shoulder pads into the chests of running backs. Playing for North Carolina, the former Tar Heels linebacker was a top-level linebacker whose chances at the NFL were cut short after a career-ending ankle injury. Rice’s pre-music résumé journey also included a stint as a NASCAR pit crew member and a memorable run as runner-up on Survivor: Nicaragua.

Rice credits his athletic roots for keeping him in top shape on the road. “Other people are more talented than me… So what can I do better than [them]? That’s the competitive side of [country music], he says in a recent interview. ” But I’m just trying to be the best version of me.”
