Ella Langley Presses Pause on August Shows to Focus on Health

Country music rising star Ella Langley is taking a much-needed break from the road. On Monday, the “You Look Like You Love Me” singer announced via Instagram that she’s canceling all remaining shows for August, citing several ongoing health struggles.

“The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more rundown than ever,” Langley shared with fans. “After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health—mind, body, and heart.”

Langley’s message resonated with her devoted fanbase, as she emphasized the importance of self-care:

“Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down.” She concluded her post with gratitude, writing, “I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love—it truly means the world to me.” She also included a Bible verse: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

The decision means Langley will miss high-profile appearances, including opening for Morgan Wallen in Ohio, performing at Nashville’s Listening Room, and joining Riley Green for shows in Montana, ID, and Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. “I’ll be back on the road in September, ready to give you my all,” she promised, with her first post-break show set for September 6 in Madison, Illinois.

Despite the brief pause in performances, it’s been banner year for Langley. Her album “Hungover” became an award-winning blockbuster, powered by the Riley Green duet “You Look Like You Love Me,” which has now surpassed 230 million streams. Her single “Weren’t for the Wind” recently hit #1 on country radio and boasts over 134 million Spotify streams. The brief break from the stage will hopefully help the singer return stronger than ever, ready to continue this meteoric rise in country music.
