Tucker Turns Up the Heat with Who Told You That and Brunette Tour

It’s officially the summer of Wetmore. As temps rise and shirts come off—including his own—country hitmaker Tucker Wetmore is turning up the heat with his new single “Who Told You That,” and the second leg of The Brunette World Tour set to kick off very soon. Built on a groovy, breezy country rhythm, “Who Told You That” finds Wetmore pushing back against small-town gossip, drawing a line between reputation and reality as he makes a flirtatious case for why she should believe him—and not the rumors. The track keeps Wetmore’s hot streak burning after the laid-back “Sunburn,” which The New York Times’ Popcast tapped as its Song of the Week and called his “second excellent single in a row.”

With shirtless season in full effect and a fresh batch of dates on deck, fans will see firsthand how Wetmore’s athletic engine still powers his country star frame onstage.

FROM FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS TO FITNESS SPOTLIGHT

Wetmore’s summer body isn’t an overnight streaming miracle. Before country stardom, the 6’1″, 180-pound singer was an all-state wide receiver and state medalist in track and field, clocking a 4.47 40-yard dash and a 15’5″ pole vault—numbers more common at an NFL combine than on a tour bus. That background still shapes his grind.

“I need to start getting back into it, getting back into my fitness, because I truly love that, and that’s a huge part of who I am,” Wetmore told Muscle & Fitness in a 2024 interview, recalling 4:30 a.m. Montana winters filled with heavy lifting and brutal cardio sessions. Now his training is more improvised—hotel gyms when he can, route running in parking lots when he can’t—but the mentality hasn’t left.

“If you break down fitness into 100%, 80% of it is diet,” he said back in 2024. On the road, that means keeping carbs in check, prioritizing protein, and reaching for hard-boiled eggs instead of late-night wings—just enough discipline to keep the abs photo-ready when the shirts come off onstage.
